The most anxiously awaited Italian wine tour in the world celebrates its tenth year!

Gambero Rosso is the world’s leading authority on Italian wine, publishing the Vini d’Italia wine guide since 1987. Featuring over 2,300 wineries, from 45,000 wines tasted each year, only 400 achieve Tre Bicchieri (Three Glass) recognition. Gambero Rosso have built a multi media empire that include restaurant, bar, café and olive oil guides, books, magazines, apps and world tours, and have established six Città del Gusto (City of Taste) sites; offering tastings, events and education in wine, cooking and journalism. Now celebrating 30 years of success, Gambero Rosso’s best-known tour, the Top Italian Wines Roadshow, is in its tenth edition, and returning to Sydney.

Trade and media are invited to the walk around tasting featuring 65 iconic wineries and 250 wines representing Italy’s wine heritage at its pinnacle. Presenting some of Italy’s greatest producers, including Gaja, Masciarelli, Allegrini, Jermann, Fontanafredda, Ca' del Bosco, Donnafugata, Frescobaldi, Masi, Nals Margreid, Planeta, Bellavista, Primosic, Berlucchi, Feudi di San Gregorio, Leone de Castris, Zenato, and Sella e Mosca plus many others not available in Australia. The structured masterclasses examine in greater detail the wineries featured in the tasting. Tour the regions and taste 20 wines with Marco Sabellico (Editor Vini d’Italia). Seating is very limited.

TRAIN - Departs from Central Station to St James Station regularly and operates 24 hrs per day, 7 days a week. 1.7km from Central Station.
